Love the theme here, I’ve got a draft in my folder where I wanted to call out that for better or worse, the answer to many of the problems AI creates is more AI.

This exists across AppSec, SecOps, OffSec etc. it’s a recursive loop, with the good, and the bad that comes along with AI given it’s not infallible.

The cost management problem is the killer here. If you become 100% dependent on AI to do things at scale, what's the backup process when the token budget runs out?

I've got a million lines of code that AI wrote and I've NEVER LOOKED AT IT. In fact, I don't even know how to code, but my tokens don't refill for another 19 days. I think a lot of folks are already in this position. Uber was public about it, but I imagine 1000+ others are in the same spot.

This is a real problem from an operational resilience side as well. If (when) you build business-critical processes that are dependent on AI, and you either have to demote / quarantine an aberrant AI or your tokens run out...that process simply doesn't get done.
